72 Hours in NYC with @theVersastyle

We have a lot in common with Annette Tang of @theVersastyle: we both have our roots set on the West Coast, we both love a great leather biker jacket, and we just can’t get enough of NYC. While we choose to reside on the sunny side of the US, throw a weekend trip to the big apple our way and there’s no telling what we'll get into. We asked the OC native to tell us her ideal weekend in NYC including where to stay, what to do, and most importantly, what to wear over 72 hours. Off we go!

WHERE TO STAY

MADE Hotel

We asked Annette her top picks on where to stay, what to do, and what DSTLD piece she can't leave behind.

WHAT TO DO

Soak in the city! And of course, eat and shop as much as possible. And then eat some more.

WHERE TO EAT

I always like to go get my classics. Bagels, a breakfast sandwich from a bodega, Ippudo for ramen, Katz’s Deli, Artichoke Pizza, Shake Shack. I also love getting dressed up and going to a nice, classic dinner - I’ve had amazing dinners at the Four Seasons and I love to check out new spots. On my list to try are Atomix, Oxomoco, and Frenchette.

WHAT DSTLD PIECE TO BRING

Definitely the Leather Biker Jacket. It’s perfect to wear during the day with the Modal Tank or graphic tee with denim shorts. And then at night, I like to pair it with a dress.

We’d take style advice from Annette no matter where we’re heading. For more ways to style the Leather Biker Jacket for summer, follow her at @theVersastyle.
